A Corner View - The Great Australian Outdoors

One of my favourite places in Australia to get into the great outdoors is beautiful Tasmania. The flight from Melbourne to Hobart or Launceston only takes about an hour; usually we fly into one city and out of the other.

I have many precious memories from my two trips to Tasmania, especially seeing a lovely little wombat ambling along the side of the road near Cradle Mountain. He was fine with us being there until my camera shutter clicked, and he ran off. All we could see was a little furry bottom running through the scrub : )

Check out these other corner viewers for their take on the great outdoors:

Thanks everyone! I'm starting to feel a bit bad about leaving here to go to Canada (although I know there is a LOT of the great outdoors to be had up there!)I do recommend coming down to Australia, Tasmania is wonderful. And of course I have to put in a plug for New Zealand!
